It is all offered laitn in a dry tone, but to their credit it never bogs down too badly. It is well structured and flows well from one topic to the next. The suggested reading lists at the end of each chapter have also been thoroughly revised.

I know it is basically a text-book and written for an academic audience, but I felt like it was missing something.
